Momtrepreneuring

When a board member from my previous corporate career laughed off my passion for creating a more human workplace as “motherhood, apple pie, and happy horseshit,” it only fueled my fire. Since then, I have created my own business that offers the compassionate and flexible work life that I was, and still am, so passionate about. I decided to flip the dismissive comment made by my previous coworker and turn it into something that was inspiring.

After seeing the impact my passion could actually have through watching my own team flourish, I knew this was something I had to share. I wrote my book, Motherhood, Apple Pie, and All That Happy Horseshitto teach moms the lessons myself and others learned the hard way, and I’m so excited to share those concepts with Gusto and you. Check out all the tips on being a mom, finding yourself again, and being a strong business owner in this article!
