Book readings and author events are fantastic opportunities to gain a new perspective on a book. A few weeks ago, my family went to a reading for one of our favorite family read-aloud authors (yes, we still read aloud with our 11-year-old, #readingismagic). Each night, as I read with my children, I feel like I’m giving a bit more meaning to the words because I understand the author’s voice a little better.
That’s why I’m so excited to head to Quincy, Illinois, next week! I’ll be joining Cyndi at the “Mothers As Business Owners” event at Studio 125. Cyndi will be giving a presentation, and she will be available for book signings and mingling afterward. Attendees will also receive a copy of Motherhood, Apple Pie, and All That Happy Horseshit an entire week before the official release date!
Cyndi will also present “Profit is a habit, not an event” on April 27 at the Quincy Public Library.
Golden Bridges: Certified Senior Move Managers is the organizer of both events.
Located along the Mississippi River, Quincy, IL, is just a few hours from St. Louis, Kansas City, Bloomington, Springfield, Decatur, and Peoria. We hope to see lots of #momprenuers and #entrepreneurs there!
Is Quincy too far? Instead, register for the Motherhood, Apple Pie, and All That Happy Horseshit Launch Party!
